The Alternative Format Meetings Voting Entity (AFM VE) represents all non In-Person CoDA groups around the world. Since the Covid Pandemic, the number of groups that are online virtually in all different platforms has increased dramatically. Because of the need to have every CoDA member's voice heard, even those online, the AFM Task Force was established and approved at the 2022 CoDA Service Conference, and recognized as a Voting Entity by the CoDA Board in April, 2023.

The AFM VE established an Outreach Committee to connect with CoDA Groups and virtual Meeting Members. This committee is visiting groups, bringing awareness of existence of this *NEW* Voting Entity. Every non in-person group and online meeting can choose to be represented at the CoDA Service Conference (CSC) by the AFM VE. The AFM VE Outreach Committee also relays important information, such as the upcoming CSC motions. Group Service Representatives (GSRs) help the AFM VE by speaking to their group's members and sharing those voices at AFM VE meetings.
